Development journey
From project initiation in 2017 to mature application, the system has gone through multiple generations and dozens of version iterations over 8–9 years.
An interdisciplinary team was formed to bring AI into digestive endoscopy; system development formally started in 2018.
Completed the first algorithm model and ran clinical trials, progressively delivering blind-spot monitoring and polyp detection.
